In October of 2009, the Song Of A Lifetime tour visited the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail, NC. The Celebration Choir and Orchestra of Indian Trail have long been recognized as one of the most dynamic worship programs in the country. Under the direction of Phil Chaney, this team of over two hundred singers and musicians joined with amazing artists and songwriters for a historic worship experience.

Special guests for this evening were The Greenes, Benton and Company, Phil Cross, Greg Day, and Daryl Williams. Tony Greene shared a miracle story of his wife Taranda donating a kidney to him to save his life. What an unforgettable moment as The Greenes then sung Hold On, through every storm Hold On! Benton and Company joined the choir on Mountain Mover and presented a wonderful version of Sweet Beulah Land. Phil Cross shared He Is Mine with the choir and joined Phil Chaney and Greg Cook for his composition, Champion Of Love. Daryl Williams teamed up with Sammy Thomas along with the choir and orchestra for a stirring version of Williams’ composition Jesus Saves. Greg Day shared the story behind Midnight Cry and sung his classic song with the choir & orchestra for a wonderful finale to a great night.

Featured artists from First Baptist of Indian Trail were The Harvest Quartet, Brenda Sprinkle, Sammy Thomas, and Helen Thomas. Various stories behind the songs were shared remotely by video from Gerald Crabb, Squire Parsons, Jim Brady, and Paula Stefanovich.

Most importantly, over 40 souls received Christ as their personal savior during this anointed, inspiring weekend.

“Song of a Lifetime Indian Trail” was truly a landmark worship experience for our church and an absolute thrill to be a part of! What a joy to be a part of the vision of Bro. Phil Cross, and I pray the Lord will use this music in an incredible way in the lives of all who hear it!
